Vanessa Cuccia is the creator of Chakrubs, a line of crystal sex toys. Following a sexually abusive relationship, Vanessa saw an ad posting for an assistant at The Pleasure Chest and looked at it as an opportunity for healing. Around the same time, she was diving deeper into her spiritual path — specifically into the world of chakras and crystals. Suddenly it came to her: What if crystals could be used as sex toys to open women’s sexual practices and provide emotional support? The Universe had sent her the message and she’d received the download. Chakrubs are now sold around the world and featured in every magazine from VICE to Teen Vogue. This week Nikki talks to Vanessa about her journey, product line, and her mission.
