Determined that her life's direction would take her to Broadway and beyond, she pursued her passion with vigor.  As she became a more observant Jew in her adult years, Rivka faced a dilemma. Orthodox Jewish women don't sing in front of male audiences - doing so is considered a form of immodesty.
