Sophie and Hannah Pycroft are the sisters who co-founded the now Instagram-famous cosmetics brush brand Spectrum Collections. With no financial backing or previous knowledge of running a beauty brand, Sophie and Hannah worked tirelessly to establish their now global brand from their garage in Wales – because they had full belief that they would make a success of it. Skip forward only a couple of years and they’ve just announced the launch of their collaboration with the Mean Girls franchise, Spectrum is now said to be worth around £8million, and their Instagram account boasting over 230,000 followers – all because they identified a gap in the market for fun, luxurious, vegan cosmetics brushes and accessories that were like nothing the industry had seen before.
