The persecution against Christians scattered Jewish believers to find safety and protection. But, some used the situation to do the unthinkable - they pivoted away from safety to bring the good news of Jesus to the Gentiles. What resulted was the calling of the disciples as "Christians," the establishment of the first Gentile church, and Antioch becoming the home base of Paul's missions.
