In honor of Washington State’s statewide day of action this past Friday and in solidarity with all of the University of Virginia athletes speaking out for the Black Lives Matter movement, Seattle Hoo and special guest Isaiah Wilkins discussed police treatment of Black citizens, Isaiah’s experiences, the protest movement, some of the solutions that have been proposed, including defunding or abolishing police departments, and the political activism of UVA athletes – including Isaiah himself.
