The Help in Hand App provides teachers and families with academic and behavioral interventions to support students. This innovative app offers teachers targeted interventions on a student-by-student basis, to offer customized support at not only foundational and more advanced levels, but also those students with special education needs. While pursuing their doctoral degrees at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Allison Atkins and Emerald Ochonogor were frustrated one night when reviewing an intervention guide for teachers. They asked themselves “What if there was an app for that?”…And the idea took off from there!
