Kyle has known Matt since they played against each other in high school golf and played together in college. Matt has a Master's in School Counseling Winona State University and is a racial equity advocate in Twin Cities. We discuss Matt's educational journey from growing up in Wisconsin, to a semester working with students in Houston, and growing his career in Minnesota. Matt shares techniques and strategies they use to promote classrooms with positive communities based on authenticity and how those communities have opened the lines of communication around race in education.
