St. John's Episcopal Church Jackson Hole Sunday Sermon

This week, Fr. Ron Pogue preaches on the second Sunday in Lent, encouraging us to consider what is involved in being chosen by God. God’s gracious act of choosing us is effected and announced in our Baptism, as it was in God’s covenant with Abraham. We have not been chosen just to feel special, though we are, not to feel weighed down with a great burden, though at times the load is heavy. We have been chosen to be the instruments of the Creator of the Universe in carrying out the divine plan of redemption.
