Both Calvinists and Arminians believe in total inability, spiritual deadness, and the need for a special working of God's grace in the life of a sinner. Yet, the Traditionalist non-Calvinist Southern Baptists deny total inablity and claim that the Word and gospel alone are sufficent to "enable" a response.
