Formerly, he served as senior pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, Missouri and as First Vice-President of the Missouri District. He is a 1992 graduate of Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska. He continued his studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, earning the Master of Divinity degree in 1996 and the Doctor of Ministry degree in 2011.
