At some point in your life, you will come face to face with a dragon. I’m not talking about a fire-breathing reptile from medieval times but a problem that stands between you and the goal. The idea of the dragon is used throughout history. The knight wants to marry the princess but the king will not allow it until the dragon destroying the kingdom is dealt with. In our hero’s case, he literally needs to slay a dragon to reach his happy ending. In our case, the dragon is often smaller and more subtle.
