Texans Defense Decimated It was the first series of the last Sundays' game and after two quick injuries the Texans' defense and the City of Houston were decimated. Yet its the "Quarter Pole" of the young 2017 NFL Season with the Texans getting their Bye Week at a most propitious moment in their schedule. The extra week gives the Texans coaching staff MUCH needed time to address their woes on defense as well as add a wrinkle or two for their rookie QB's offensive growth.
