Howard Shore is a three-time Oscar- and Golden Globe–winning composer whose credits include The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Saturday Night Live, most films by David Cronenberg and several by Martin Scorsese, plus Seven, Ed Wood, That Thing You Do! and The Silence of the Lambs. Michael speaks the legendary Canadian Jewish composer about his modest upbringing in and around Toronto, while Alex breaks down his own recent trip to Israel, where he met with residents across the political divide as part of a trip called Kaleidoscope.
