Synopsis

Today’s show will bring an update to the latest in the Jacobs v. Goliath battle to hold banks accountable to the rule of law. Lots going on against Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase. This past week a new client showed up at my office, a well respected Republican politician in Miami, Alex Diaz De La Portilla. Mr. DDLP’s parents were about to have their house sold at a foreclosure auction. The Honorable Judge Beatrice Butchko just canceled their sale. We are going after the bank for fraud upon the court. Their own affidavits claimed they paid $15K in attorney’s fees but they put over $27K in attorneys fees in the final judgment. The case was barely contested and ended with a consent judgment. Hardly a fight that cost $27K in legal fees. With the sale canceled, we may just save the house from foreclosure after all.It looks like we may have a new ally in the fight to hold Banks accountable to the rule of law. Welcome aboard Mr. DDLP!Listen Live - Thu
