For episode 2 we went to Devizes carnival and the unique confetti battle.  Here are the sentences again:  Soweit wir wissen, ist Devizes die einzige Stadt, die eine Konfetti-Schlacht-Tradition hat.   As far as we know Devizes is the only town that has a Confetti Battle tradition.   Niemand kann sich an die erste offizielle Schlacht erinnern, aber wir wissen, dass ihre Wurzeln auf den alten Devizes Carnival im Jahr 1913 zurückgehen, wo Konfetti und Rosenblätter von der Menge auf die Menschen in der Prozession geworfen wurden.   No one can remember the first official battle,  but we know its roots date back to the old Devizes Carnival in 1913, where confetti and rose petals were thrown by the crowd at people in the procession.   Die Tradition entwickelte sich zu einer ausgewachsenen Schlacht um 1955. The tradition evolved into a fully-fledged battle around 1955    Es gibt keine "Schlacht" als solche, nur eine sehr alberne halbe Stunde mit viel Spaß. There is n
