The ordination of the priests in Exodus 28--29 signify an invitation of God's people into his holy presence. In Exodus 29 we read about how the priests were anointed and ordained in order to draw into God's presence. Today, we are anointed and ordained through the shedding of Jesus' blood on the cross for the atonement of our sin. We are a new creation invited into God's holy presence. - Pastor Arthur Hsu
