In this MarXiv Summary audio-edition, we interview Mita Drius about her recent research quantifying the ecosystem services provided by coastal dunes along the Italian Adriatic coast. Her team’s results show that while more people are benefiting from the services provided by these dunes, these same people are putting additional pressures on the habitats.
