Dan discovered trading while in college after having a successful run playing online poker, turning $50 into over $40,000. Similar to many new traders, Dan jumped the gun and lost half his poker profits in the short span of three months, nearly taking him out of the game. However, refusing to give up, Dan stuck with trading, dropped out of college and paper traded for 8 months. With his large loss behind him, Dan has crawled back to profitability in one of the most impressive amateur trading come back stories we have seen. By focusing on how to avoid red days instead of his profits, Dan plans to slowly start sizing up to continue his full time trading career.
