St Mary's Parish Homilies

Deacon Roger Carrier proclaims the Gospel according to St. Luke and Fr. Matt Alcombright gives a homily on this Sundays Gospel. In a parable today Jesus gives us this image of a Fig tree that isn't bearing fruit and a idea of trying to rejuvenate the soil by tilling around the tree. Thought the sacrament of Reconciliation we can till the soil of our heart to allow Jesus enter and helps us bear good fruit in this life.
