This week, Kaizen Komedy looks at the work of Amy Schumer. Schumer’s material is rooted in her strong grasp of misdirection. She constantly surprises the audience with her punchlines and uses multiple tags to help further paint a picture of her jokes. She has a tendency to tackle taboo topics, but through an innocent lens that she portrays with her persona. Schumer continues to climb the comedic ladder, with no end in sight.
