In the Gospels we see that Jesus had a special place in His heart for children. He reminded us in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” But in reality, throughout all of Scripture, God's heart for children has always been apparent.
