Jack Somers is a Marine Corps Capt. He entered the Marines in 2006. In 2010, He was deployed to Afghanistan and upon returning began to experience seizures. Jack became medically separated from the Marine Corps in 2012. He is the creator of Relobase. An app helping service men and women with their relocation. Every year approximately 1.3 million service people and their families relocate. Typically, there is a Family Readiness Officer assigned to help with relocations. The problem is the Family Readiness Officer (or FRO) is assigned to a battalion and a battalion is about 500ppl. Leaving the FRO overwhelmed and service men and women to figure much of their relocation out on their own. Jack’s app is changing all of this.
