I believe him to be a true believer and follower of Christ.Kirk’s wrestling with the fate of the lost is certainly not a new debate, and I have known of many Christian leaders throughout my years who have questioned the ultimate fate of the souls of the lost. The question asked is, “will those in hell consciously suffer forever, or will they finally be destroyed and cease to exist?”In this study we will answer 3 questions:1 - What is the teaching of annihilationism?2 - What is Hell’s ultimate purpose?3 - Will those in Hell suffer endlessly, or temporarily?Key Scriptures used in today’s teaching: Matthew 25:41-46 NLTOther Scriptures referenced:
