The Word of God teaches us that Jesus took great joy in the finished work of the cross. It was there, on the other side of victory, that He knew redemption and restoration would be made available to all of God's people. The finished work of the cross allowed man to step back into his rightful authority in the earth, fully established to complete the plans and purposes of God.
