Fr. Pierre Ingram preached at all of the masses at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church this past weekend. In this homily from the 5 PM Mass, Fr. Pierre discusses the great cost of Jesus's personal investment in our salvation. NOTES: This is not a typical miracle story. How Jesus heals is unusual, and how people respond to the healing is not what Jesus wanted them to do. Notice first of all that what Jesus does for this deaf-mute person differs from what people requested or anticipated.
