This week Ready Golf is joined by up-and-coming pro golfer Matt Shubley. Matt is born and raised on Ontario and is a member of the Oshawa Golf & Curling Club. After playing in high school, Matt went to the States to play college golf at Sacred Heart University, an NCAA Division I school in Fairfield, Connecticut. In his senior year, Matt was a 2 x Northeastern Conference Golfer of the Week and named First Team All-NEC. Since graduating and turning pro, Matt has been playing in the West Florida Golf Tour. In our interview, we discuss his background in golf, what it was like being a college athlete, and the daily grind of playing on one of the professional mini-tours. Matt is the perfect example of both the skill and work ethic that it takes to get into a position where he can compete among the best.
