We’re a day late this week, but that’s a good thing since there is a TON of news to cover! We kick things off talking all about Team Europe’s surprise upset of Team USA at the Solheim Cup. Europe defended the cup as well as won in the US for the first time since 2013. The team featured standout performances from Matilda Castren, superstar in the making Leona Macguire, and the clutch Emily Kristine Pedersen, who came out victorious in the anchor match with her boyfriend caddying for the opponent. Another big tournament going on this weekend was the Tour Championship, which was won by Patrick Cantlay. Though we have more than a few qualms with the format of the entire playoffs, this was a great performance by Cantlay and resulted in a very deserving winner. Now that the Tour season is (finally) behind us, we can shift our attention to the next big event: The Ryder Cup. On Wednesday morning, captain Steve Stricker announced his 6 captain’s picks to round out Team USA. We discuss who is in and who is out as well
