In the 1980's that never was...  North of Stolkholm lie the Mälaren Islands and the world's largest particle accelerator, the Facility for Research in High Energy Physics, or as the locals prefer to call it, "The Loop". What exactly goes on within The Loop and what they're researching remains a tightly guarded secret but all you know for sure is weird and strange things have been happening ever since.
