Locked On Reds

The Cincinnati Reds made the decision to send Graham Ashcraft to Triple-A Louisville. This is a win now move for the Reds. This demotion isn't so much about getting a better pitcher in Ashcraft's spot, but the Reds recognizing Ashcraft needs to get right and seeing their ability to cover him in the short term. The pitching staff has largely been the strength of the Reds this season, led by Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo, who are both doing something similar to take that next step.
