In the most basic of tests, I turn my iPhone 13 Pro Max camera around and start talking for 30 minutes. This is what it sounds like while driving in my car. I think it did a pretty exceptional job. You could get better quality by recording under a blanket with the Memo app if you don't care about a video podcast. Hope this helps.
