The Minnesota Twins held on for a 1-0 win over the Cleveland Guardians in Thursday's series finale. Devin Smeltzer threw six shutout innings while Nick Gordon hit a solo homer, the only run the Twins scored against Zach Plesac. It was just enough to win.
