Synopsis

The New York Yankees swept the Minnesota Twins in a doubleheader at Yankee Stadium Wednesday. Louie Varland made his MLB debut and was absolutely terrific, tossing 5 1/3 innings of one-run ball while striking out seven. The Twins had a 3-1 lead when Varland left but Gleyber Torres made them pay with a two-run homer off Griffin Jax to tie it up. The Yankees walked off the Twins in the 12th. In game two, Gerrit Cole dominated and the Yanks won in decisive fashion. The Twins are two games back of the Cleveland Guardians in the American League Central.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar.
