The Minnesota Twins, after trading All-Star and AL batting champion Luis Arraez, are expressing quiet confidence in Alex Kirilloff's ability to man first base for a chunk of 2023. Even if Kirilloff returns from wrist surgery healthy and ready to perform, the Twins could still acquire a right-handed first baseman to platoon with Kirilloff.
