Ireland in 2023 saw a sharp rise in far right organising and agitation. Communities under pressure, facing increased poverty and homelessness, now experiencing an increase in inward migration, are struggling to find solutions. The fascist right offer up simplistic answers, and easy targets to scapegoat, while shielding the powerful from the anger of the people.
