Purity culture had an impact on many of us. Purity culture was taught to many of us in varying degrees and seems to have began as a way to keep people from making harmful decisions around their sexuality, but instead led to many relationships and marriages starving from a lack of intimacy. My guest today tells us her story of being raised in a high demand religious upbringing and how the messages she absorbed impacted her and her then husband in harmful ways. She shares her story up until where she is today and the healing she went through and how she now helps people heal their wounds that were created by lies around sexuality.
