DJ Madonna has an online music show on Radio Parkies. Here she get a bit more personal. The Brisbane Women’s Community Radio Training Project was organised to help balance gender bias in Community Radio, and to empower women who may not be able to access community radio training and volunteering by usual pathways. The project was run by Kim Stewart, Maddie Watt, Lucy Czerwinski and Elena Black. The project was renamed Women on the Edge (WOTE) by participants. Between 12-16 women attended over 15 weeks from Sept-Dec 2017. It culminated in a Listening Party on December 15, 2017 and a radio series to be released in March 2018.
