Newly named Spire Motorsports driver Chase Purdy joins Davey Segal (6:00) to ring in 2024 and another year of the pod. They discuss their mutual hatred for Michigan (but congrats, I guess), why his new opportunity with Spire Motorsports isn't really all that new, working with crew chief Jason Trinchere, how Spire is beefing up their program ahead of their first full-time Truck Series campaign and working with teammates Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith and Corey LaJoie. Purdy also discusses his career year in 2023 and why he's aiming for bigger and better in 2024, getting more comfortable in the seat after his two-year hiatus, how he deals with being labeled as a "pay driver" and more, including his background to get to this point and realistic expectations for this season.
