Every man at some point wonders if his life is in vain. We all want to feel that our live matter. People like to see the result of their labor and effort. Often in our prayer life, we do not see the results of our prayers. Bro. Hughes tells us that the result of prayer is never nothing. God may not give any sign of His receiving our prayers, but all prayers are heard. Our scripture text references the prophet Elias. God we first meet Elias in 1 Kings 17 where he learns from God that there will be a drought in the land. Bro. Hughes looks at Elias and sees three points He was a man of faith. Faith is not always enough He showed us how to act and respond when God did send an answer.
