Few sins erode trust faster than dishonesty and deceit. Yet, lying and the distortion of the truth is often treated as a trivial matter-or even a necessity. On the other hand, integrity is costly in the moment, but leads to a clear conscience. God graciously gives the option of integrity to us, and encourages us to avoid deceit by sharing all of its damaging ends.
