Kathy resides in Asheville, NC and began her adult career as a scientist but quickly evolved into an entrepreneur. After receiving a bio-science degree and working in the field of microbiology, Kathy transitioned in the late 1980’s into the world of health and opened the first organic restaurant in the state of Iowa. Because of their love of skiing and adventurous spirit, she and her husband moved to the Colorado Mountains and purchased a small natural foods store. Her scientific background led her to research the best health products in the market and her love of food and cooking helped her to create a renowned organic catering company. The store soon became very successful, expandedand quadrupled in space.
