Today in our Sermon series in Hebrews, we have come to chapter 11. Here we have set out to us examples from the Old Testament of persons who had faith. Having learned in Hebrews about Jesus Christ as the beautiful and excellent object of our faith, these examples will help you to understand how to live out your faith. In the passage we are looking at today, we have an introduction to the whole subject. The emphasis here is not so much to define faith, but to speak of how it transforms the way we live.
