Zingibeer is an Irish drinks start-up by father and daughter team, Kevin and Rachel Byrne, who started to brew this low-alcohol ginger beer as a Covid project. It launched in 2022, and, with help from Enterprise Ireland, the Food Academy and a Gold Blas Award, they now have an enviable distribution throughout the country in supermarkets, off licenses and bars. In this Best Possible Taste interview Sharon Noonan talks to Rachel Byrne about the company, its successes to date and future plans.
