The Story of Curtis Brooks  Curtis Brooks has been on the A&E Program: #kidsbehindbars    He was incarcerated at age 15.   On April 10, 1995 in Aurora, Colorado, 15-year-old Curtis Brooks was one of four teenagers involved in the death of Christopher Ramos as they tried to steal his car. As a result, Curtis was sentenced to life in prison without parole.   After 23 years in jail, Curtis was granted a resentencing. He spent a total of 24 years behind bars. This happened because the US Supreme Court ruled that it is unconstitutional to hand out such lengthy sentences to juveniles convicted of murder.  Curtis did not fire the shot that took the life of the boy.   There are all kinds of nuances associated with his case, readily available on the Internet.  The subject of this interview is to show what Curtis' life is like after Prison.   Curtis Brooks has done well for himself.
