My favorite styles of dub techno have particular moods I’ve come to refer to as either sunrise, sunset, dub, techno, or ambient. I remember my first time hearing dub techno for the first time. It was a crisp fall morning and I laid on the beach hearing the waves crash, watching the fog-veiled sun rise slowly over the horizon. My weary head rested on a wind swept log. I was tired from dancing all night long. As I laid watching the sun rise, dub techno played in the background welcoming to the new day. This mix features some of my favorite ’sunrise’ dub techno tracks that will help you welcome the new day or wake you up from a deep slumber. Enjoy!
