When the Gospel changes you, God begins to impact others through you. The Gospel is so powerful and so evident in an individual's life that others are going to notice that there is a difference in you. God will use you to impact others around you. Are you ready for that?

We have talked a lot about what we believe in our core. Today we look at how the Gospel changed Paul's life. The real question is, how has the Gospel changed YOU?

The Holy Spirit is a force. It is headed in a direction, it has a purpose. The question is, are you in sync with the Spirit and where it's heading?

Marcus interviews Thomas and Hannah as they share about their experiences in school and life.

The Gospel is the Good News story. God creates, sin breaks, Jesus restore humanity to God. Now we get to enjoy communion with God both here on earth and in heaven.

A break from our sermon series, we talk about what our mindset should be for school. Christ is not something that we do once or twice a week. He is not an activity. Christ is the foundation on which we build our lives. Everything we do should be from a Christ centered mindset.

Sometimes we come up with excuses to doubt God. What makes you doubt God. Pray for Jesus to help you with your disbelief. Not only in the big things, but the little things too.

What walls are you putting up between you and Jesus?

When Jesus is your banner it is evident. People notice. The things we think about the most, the things we dwell on become a part of who we are. Today we are talking about meditating on God's word. To meditate means to engage in thought, to reflect, to consider something.

We display our banner of Jesus with our life of worship. Many times we get caught up with worshipping or idolizing other people (maybe boyfriend or girlfriend or crush) or things (maybe social media, phones, video games). Worship is not a song or singing, worship is what we love the most. When we are loving Jesus we are showing him or expressing love to him. That why we sometimes refer to singing together to Jesus "worship". But it is possible to worship other things instead of God. God is the only thing that is worthy of worship. Nothing besides God is worthy of worship.

What does it look like to carry the Jesus banner above yourself?

In the final message in the series "The Pursuit of Holiness", we talk about holiness and prayer. The two are closely related. If we do nothing the human condition will lead us to death, spiritual death. The Bible says temptation gives way to sin, and sin, when fully developed, leads to death. The only way to stop this from happening is by actively fighting. We do this by staying in touch with God through prayer. Prayer gives space for a relationship with God. It is space for communion, for talking to God and listening from God. This relationship is the active way we fight temptation.

Jesus attracted crowds of people. The crowds were interested in who this man was and what he was doing. After the event or after Jesus spoke the crowd would disperse. A disciple decides that Jesus is important enough to follow. Jesus calls us to be followers, to be disciples. He invites us to be involved. He invites us to participate in His plan.

Today we are so excited to have a missionary from the Republic of Georgia visit. He shares with us his life, his story, and his struggles and he share Jesus with people on the other side of the world.

Marcus reminds us that God calls us to be set apart. We specifically talk about worry, fear, anxiety and how if affects our generation and our society. God is with you. God takes care of worry, fear, and anxiety if you trust in Him.
