She also reveals that her involvement in the program comes from her own personal story. It's a story not only of surviving cancer but also overcoming cultural barriers in the process.

In Episode 5, Owen shows us how a Broadway musical can help us to find ourselves, Andrew tells of a UT Medical student bringing doctors to small town Texas, and Arely reveals how Dan Johnson's music is helping save the lives of Veterans.

In episode 4, Owen, Arely and Andrew seek out stories that show the power of community. A single photograph travels the world, joining people's hands through art. In episode 3 of Good Newscast, Owen, Andrew, and Arely discuss community and homelessness, strangers honoring a Vietnam veteran, and the courage it takes to be the youngest producer in Hollywood.
