Ross Rodger: We start and end by faith: All the promises are by faith This week opens the issue that, not only are we saved by faith, but we mature and enter into the promises of God through faith. Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness,” but he also entered into the promise through enduring faith. We too, are saved by faith, grow by faith, and enter into God’s destiny for us by faith.

Ross Blair: Grace & Sin: set free to serve God, not to sin without punishment We are set free from the consequences of sin AND it’s power. We are NOT set free from the consequences of sin to sin with impunity. God graciously dealt with the consequences of sin and it’s power over us, and set us free from sin so that we could serve God. Paul does not threaten believers with consequences with sin; he states that it is inconsistent with God’s work in their lives and their new identity.

Gary Blair: The results of justification by faith: What a privileged position! It is important to understand what Jesus has given us. All of God’s promises are for the righteous, and we are righteous in Jesus. We have peace with God, undeserved privilege, have hope for our future, are loved by God and considered His friends.

Gary Blair: The Faith to Qiut This majestic piece of scripture is bad news for any leader, organization or internal voice that wants to manipulate your guilt but is the bedrock of all attempts to live in the freedom God has for us.  The apostle Paul argues that we really need to understand the beauty of what Christ has done for us. To understand that, we need to understand the offensiveness of our sin and the fullness of His sacrifice. When we do, we are free to enter into an amazing new way of life.

Natalie Naude: Celebration God has done such incredible things in our community over the last 12 months, in this vision series, we want to celebrate what He has done and speak about where He is taking us, how He has provided for us in seasons past and how we are trusting Him to continue to provide personally and corporately as we seek His kingdom first. This week we have the privilege of coming together to celebrate that we are able to give and that we are knitted into a body committed to building the church together. As we re-establish the fact that God is our provider and we celebrate the people who give, I am believing for a shift in our community towards sowing consistently into the kingdom. I would like us to spend time celebrating the gift of the widow and the gift of the roman centurion. The goal is a sense of pleasure in being with people who give to the kingdom.

Ross Rodger: Generosity This week, we are going to speak about the principle of generosity with a bias towards celebrating acts of generosity in our church. Siya car, church building, care for one another etc. The more we can celebrate the better. We want to drive in the concept of sowing and reaping to establish a way of thinking in our people that is based on faith more than budget.

Gary Blair: First Fruits The bible has so much to say about firsts. Abraham gave of his first tenth (the tithe), the Israelites were called to dedicate their firstborn sons and animals, they gave their firstfruits. In this week, we want to call our people back to the principle of giving your first and seeking first the advancement of the kingdom of God. At the end, we should envision people with what would be possible if we all brought our firsts to God, referring back to the opening week

Abraham gave 10 percent out of his first victory, the Israelites were called to dedicate their firstborn sons, their first born livestock, and they gave the firstfruits of every harvest. In this week, we want to call our people back to the principle of giving your first and seeking first the advancement of the kingdom of God. Not just because we should, but because of the amazing promises attached to that lifestyle and because of what would be possible in this city if we all brought our firsts to God.

Ross Rodger & Sarah Mckenzie: Vision week This week we are looking to celebrate what God has already done in our site, remembering moments of great generosity and faithfulness. We want people to be stirred in their faith by what has happened before we envision them to the next season. This sets us up to paint a picture of where we are going before wrapping up with asking for what we need to get there.

Natalie Naude: Mother's Day This Sunday we got to celebrate our Moms, Mama’s, Gogos, Aunt’s, Spiritual Mothers and all those who we see as Moms in the different spaces that we find ourselves in.
