future ~ timeless ~ electronic ~ r&b ~ hip-hopI'm Silly Syl. I'm a Boston-bred, Oakland-based DJ. I've had a voracious appetite for music of many genres since I was just a lil tyke. I learned how to DJ during my senior year of college in 2013. Spinning at fraternity parties was fun, but after graduation, I decided it was time to move up to the big leagues and join a professional DJing company in Boston. As I continued to grow professionally and creatively, I sought an environment where I could really express myself through music. The Bay Area was calling my name, so I packed up and started fresh in a new scene at the end of 2015.Now you'll typically find me spinning at queer events like Vice Tuesdays at QBar or hip-hop nights at Slate in SF. I've even DJed weddings and day-parties at local breweries. So far I've DJed in Boston, Worcester, San Francisco, Oakland, LA, Oregon, and Hawaii.I have a real knack for spinning Top 40 and Hip-Hop in a refreshing format at these events. But my Soundcloud page showcases the indie hip-hop and underground electronic music that I thrive on.
