Ray and Loren return to the airways thursday night to get you caught up on everything you need as the new look, coached and uniformed San Diego Chargers begin their practice camp. We will go over the training camp battles, the players to watch, the players that need to step up and the playmakers at this camp.

It's that time of the year again! Ray and Loren continue the proud tradition of our not to be missed most popular show of the year, the live mock draft. Ray will be moderating a group of six draft prognosticators including Bolttalk's AnteaterCharger (Loren), Denver Bolt and The LBC, Emory Hunt from the Football Game Plan (the Czar of the Playbook), Boltblitz Chief Writer Booga, and Charger fan and draft guru Skinnyduzit from Twitter. With only two weeks until draft day, and a roster still with too many holes, Ray and Loren will take to the air to discuss the Chargers needs, wants and likely targets. We will go over what positions the team needs, who are their likely focuses, who have the Chargers brass spoken with and who do the fans think we should get.

Since our last episode the Chargers have made some moves, as has the rest of the AFC West. Where do the Chargers stack now as compared to when free agency started? What an amazing last couple of days for the San Diego Chargers! On this weeks show, we discuss the hiring of Tom Telesco, Mike McCoy and Ken Whisenhunt. We'll talk about how they all got her and what they bring to a new era of Chargers football. Plus we answer your voicemail and emails.

On this very special edition of the Bolttalk Podcast Loren and Ray will break down what happened with AJ and Norv throughout this long process that led to the firing of a former near deity level GM and a coach whose only responsibility was to drive a ferrari straight. We will look at the Raider game and discuss the latest news, rumors and talk regarding the search for a new GM, coach and the latest player news.

Ray and Loren will put a final official stamp on the 2012 season and the careers of Norv Turner and AJ Smith, in a fashion as emphatic and thorough as the Panthers smashed the Chargers 31-7. We will discuss these past two games, the disgrace that has been the 2012 season, the fault of Dean Spanos in this cluster bleep and discuss in part the next game as the Chargers travel to NJ to face the Jets.

With another fourth quarter loss, this time to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chargers have ensured they won't have a winning season. The Chargers won't make the playoffs for a third year in a row for the first time since 2000-2003 and with one more loss will have their first losing season since 2003. Ray 7 Loren will look at what happened (though it'll be very similar to the last few losses), will put the end to the Chargers' playoffs hopes into context, and discuss the latest group of injuries. And for the Chargers absolute last hope, they travel to a place that has always been a house of horror for the Chargers...Pittsburgh to face the injured but dangerous Steelers.

In a year where the Chargers have lost in so many creative ways, last week's loss versus the Ravens might just take the cake. Ray and Loren break down another heart breaker (though after the last few weeks we are kinda numb to this) of a loss, look at the injuries that piled up after the Ravens game and look ahead to what is the last chance for the Chargers to salvage the season as they welcome another AFC North powerhouse in the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ray and Loren return after a short hiatus to discover the Chargers at 4-6, having lost to Denver twice with little chance of the Chargers making it to the playoffs. After two losses in a row, including a pretty humiliating one to the Broncos last week, we all will assess the Chargers situation, the roster and the likely fan reaction to a home game versus the tough Baltimore Ravens. After a much needed weekend off from the Chargers, Ray and Loren discuss all the latest news that has hit our beloved Lightning Bolts. This includes the new Stickem scandal (and the prayer the Chargers kept the receipt because clearly they didn't get their money's worth), Nate Kaeding goes on IR and if this effects the score of the famous Manning-Rivers trade, who's coming back from injury and we look ahead to the Chargers visiting Cleveland to take on the struggling but talented Browns.

What.....a......debacle! After leading 24-0 at halftime and a dominant half of football, the Chargers have one of the worst chokes in the history of this organization losing 35-24. After imposing our will on the Broncos, the Chargers couldn't get anything right from coach and quarterback through the defense. Ray and Loren try to put the pieces together on what was an absolute horror show, place the blame where it deserves to be and try to look ahead to what the rest of the season might hold.

With a chance to take a commanding lead in the division, and to send the Saints further into a tailspin, the Chargers (thanks in part to the refs) were defeated by the Saints in a thrilling battle in New Orleans. Ray and Loren break down what went right, what went wrong and how much of an impact the refs had on this game. We will also look at the Chargers inability to put teams away in the last two years. Then we look ahead to an incredibly important monday night showdown with Peyton Manning and the struggling Denver Broncos.
