During an Australian ABC News interview, Sex Expert Deanne Carson, suggested that parents should gain their babies consent before changing diapers.  The subject was taken up by Tucker Carlson in an interview with Cathy Areu in his show’s segment titled “The Liberal Sherpa”.  Areu expressed support for gaining babies consent before changing diapers.  Both Carson and Areu appear to be educated, accomplished and successful. With individuals of this apparent caliber asserting that parents should gain consent from babies, does it mean that parenting is headed in a “new improved” direction?  Unlike parents 50 to 100 years ago, many parents will not use spankings as a means of disciplining their children.  Decades ago spankings were traded in for timeouts and a great number of people bought into that then “new” style of parenting.  Is this another “new” style of parenting on the horizon?  If so, is this one that should be embraced?  If a new style of parenting is embraced, how should defiant children be handled? ht

Is there a real conspiracy within the Criminal Legal Justice System to imprison black men?  There is at least one account of the Dothan, Alabama police department bringing completely false charges against black men and sending them to jail. The blog PrivacySOS states; “Documents leaked to a justice organization by police whistleblowers in Alabama reveal a decades long conspiracy to plant guns and drugs on up to one thousand innocent Black men. The editors of GQ Magazine have written an article disparaging the Bible by placing it on a list of 21 literary pieces that they say are not worth reading.  Fox News religion contributor Father Jonathan Morris came to the defense of the Bible stating “Even if you don't believe this is an inspired word of God, in the last 50 years 3.9 billion have read the book." Prominent Atheist, Richard Dawkins, admitted to God’s existence or at least to a very small chance that God exists.  This admission took place in a debate with Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury.  This debate was not what was expected of two men deemed to be polar opposites on the existence of God and evolution.  Not only did Dawkins give the nod to God’s existence but the Archbishop apparently agreed with evolution.  If these two men, who are highly esteemed and notable in their achievements in opposing arenas, can come to agreement, is this an indication that we all may some-day come to similar conclusions?  Listen in as the Brothers in The Virtual Living Room discuss God’s existence and evolution.
